Hey rug-sitter!

Whether you love watching the clouds as you snack in the wild or into more of a breakfast-in-bed homebody situation, I’m hardy enough for outdoor adventures and soft enough for indoor lounging - letting you picnic whenever and wherever suits you best.

For all the crumb droppers and wine-topplers, I’m made from a thick spill-resistant yarn that’s been tightly handwoven together for the cosiest, spikey-grass-free picnic experience you’ve ever had. Made in bold but chic colourways, it would be my pleasure to be the aesthetic backdrop to your best memories of the year.

Materials Sustainability

Made from 100% recycled plastic bottle, hand dyed and ethically hand woven in India. 

Please note due to the handmade nature of Peek Neek rugs, there may occasionally be some looser threads and slight differences to the colours on the website - each rug is completely unique.

Care Instructions

For spilt snacks, blot up any liquid and spot clean me with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Even though I feel like wool, my recycled plastic fibres are deceptively easy to dab even the toughest of stains out of - trust me - I had beetroot, ketchup and red wine stomped into me during my audition for the website.

Washing machines may cause pulls, slight colour fading and can contribute to microplastics in the ocean but if you need to throw me in one - please use a cold and gentle wash to reduce your impact.

Please don’t put me in the dryer - I prefer to air dry in the fresh air and feel the wind in my tassels.
